Coles Summer Carnival Information

The Coles Summer Carnival is being held this Saturday 22nd of October at QSAC. We have just under 1,300 athletes registered to compete from right across the State – it’s going to be a BIG day!

No changes will be made to athlete entries or events at the competition.

🥪 CANTEEN: a canteen will be operating throughout the day for all your food and beverage needs.
⛱ TENTS: will be permitted around the outside of the arena. Tent space is offered on a first in basis. Please ensure only SMALL tent pegs are used.
↔️ SOCIAL DISTANCING: anyone attending the Carnival must adhere to social distancing guidelines.
🌧 WET WEATHER: the Carnival will only be cancelled under extreme conditions. If necessary, a decision will be made on Saturday at the relevant time.
🧘 PATIENCE: with the high number of athletes and families attending, please be patient. The car park will be extremely busy so allow yourself extra time to arrive, find a park and get into the arena. Do not leave it until the last minute, or your athlete could miss their event.

Competition Results

At the end of each race the times will be automatically uploaded and available via ResultsHQ. Field events (jumps and throws), have to be manually entered and can take a few days to complete.

Online Registrations 2021/2022

Trial Information

We offer a trial for new athletes. The trial costs $30 and is for the first three weeks only. This is a great option if you or your athlete are not sure about little athletics. If you decide to continue, the $30 will be deducted from the full season registration.

Athletes will need to be registered for a trial or full season to compete.

Dates to remember
August 14th & 21st – 2pm to 4pm

Information days. Registrations will need to be completed online. These days are for any registration issues, ask our committee questions, or for uniform or athlete number collection for full season registrations. Trialists do not need a uniform or athlete number.

August 28th – 2pm to 4pm

Centre Orientation for new and trialing athletes. This is for parents and athletes to understand how competition day’s work. To have a throw, run and jump.
