Your child only requires a good attitude. Our emphasis is on Family, Fun and Fitness. Children can join with any level of skill or fitness and will be given plenty of encouragement to achieve their personal best.

We want your child to discover new skills and learn to be their best while making friends and having fun.

The Wynnum Manly Little Athletics Centre is run solely by volunteers. Committee members and officials are not paid for the work they do running the Centre. Much of this work goes on ‘behind the scenes’ throughout the whole year, with the day‐to‐day administration of running such a large sports club taking up many hours.

The Centre is heavily dependent on parent help to operate smoothly and quickly. Lack of parent help can result in lengthy delays at events, so it is in all our best interests to lend a hand.

We need parents to help out with a variety of jobs each week which include but not limited to:

  • set up before competition
  • pack up after competition
  • help in the canteen
  • recorder or starter at track events
  • act as a judge, measure distances or record performances at field events
  • be an age marshal to supervise kids, move them between events
  • help at field events by raking the long jump pit, retrieving a shot put, discus and javelin, moving the high jump bar

Each week an age group will be allocated to setup ready for competition.

Please don’t just stand back. If you can lend a hand please do so, as we all have a role to play. If you would like to know what to do, ask someone on competition days. We’d really appreciate it.

Yes, we have drinks, chips, lollies, slushie etc

Card only. We do not except cash.
